Yes. Fill them in once in Settings > Company & Warehouse, and they are on every invoice.
Does Mealbooks file my VAT return?
In the Netherlands and Germany Mealbooks works out the figure for each box of the return, per quarter; you copy them into the tax office’s portal and file there. In other countries you get a VAT summary per quarter for your own return. Then you lock the quarter in Mealbooks.
Can I send invoices via WhatsApp?
Yes, or download them as PDF.
Is Mealbooks a cash register?
No. Mealbooks makes your invoices and keeps your books. If you take cash on the spot, some countries have rules for tills: in Germany an electronic cash register needs a certified security module (TSE), and in Austria a cash register (Registrierkasse) is required above the legal turnover limits. Mealbooks is not such a till. Check with your tax adviser what applies to you.
HACCP
Does Mealbooks replace my paper HACCP log?
Mealbooks has the same daily, weekly and periodic checks, digital, and you can print the logs as PDF: the record the food inspector asks to see. The print names your country’s inspecting authority, for example the NVWA in the Netherlands, the local food control authority (Lebensmittelüberwachung) in Germany, the FAVV / AFSCA in Belgium and the DDPP in France. Check with your hygiene guide or that authority which records your business needs.
How long does Mealbooks keep my HACCP checks?
2 years. Older checks are deleted automatically.
